MANUFACTURER OF QUICK DRAW TARPAULIN SYSTEMS
- DeMonte Fabricating Ltd. was founded by Walt DeMonte in 1978 with a goal of manufacturing custom truck bodies and trailers for the local construction, hauling and auto industries. The company quickly earned a reputation for quality and timely workmanship in the manufacture and installation of dump bodies and flatbed decks, as well as repairs and modifications to truck bodies, trailers and car carrier trailers
- Company President Walt DeMonte conceived the ideas for a manual rolling tarp in the mid 80’s. Several prototypes of tarp systems were designed and constructed. Shortly thereafter DeMonte filed for patent rights to the manual Tarping system in Canada and the United States.
- The product name “Quick Draw Tarpaulin Systems”, soon was born and the first commercial rolling tarp systems from DeMonte Fabricating Ltd. were sold to local tool & mould shops in 1989.
- Quick Draw Tarpaulin Systems™ are a robust, self-sealing (no bungee cords required), rolling tarp system for transport trucks and trailers including drop decks.
- Quick Draw Tarpaulin Systems are of modular design with bolted connections allowing for easy service with no cutting or welding required, parts are interchangeable.
- Quick Draw Tarpaulin Systems feature a rear adjustable bow and winding rear brace combination which allow the tarpaulin to be stretched tightly and closed completely to the end of the trailer every time. No valuable bed space is wasted to allow for future tarp stretch. Wrinkles caused by trailer camber are all but eliminated.
- Extensive design engineering and rigorous testing have culminated in the highest quality, longest lasting, light weight rolling tarp system available in the world today.
